HEALTH - BEAUTY - ECOLOGY - this is a motto of a brand new programme launched by SITA CZ. A particular attention is paid to direct aspects of entrepreneurship in line with principles of sustainable development and support of healthy living style of the entire society. The purpose and mission of the programme was introduced to the public on 25 June 2010 within general partnership of charitable navigation on the EUROPE paddle steamer in Prague for the Leontinka Foundation.

During the trip through Prague, visitors enjoyed a rich programme of the Wellness Party supported by the sunshine and beautiful scenic overlooks. The Wellness Party focused on healthy living style and environment protection. SITA CZ cooperating with the Wellness Club organised a four-hour trip and charitable party which takes place on the Vltava River exceptionally, once a year. The management of SITA CZ aboard headed by Managing Director Zdeněk Horsák introduced its new long-termed programme to 250 VIP customers and guests at the party, launching the external campaign of the programme.

The programme which is characterised by the motto above as well as by the title "SITA – Good Employer" concentrates not only on the entrepreneurship according to the spirit of the sustainable development and expansion of total services offers in the waste management business, but also on satisfaction and motivation of more than a thousand of full-time employees who work in SITA CZ in the Czech Republic and Slovakia. The objective is also to recruit new colleagues who would joint the SITA CZ team.

In addition to competitions, fashion parades, songs and dances with ecological elements, the key goal was to support the Leontinka Foundation which has been helping for five years to visually-impaired children and young people up to 25 years. SITA CZ will also concentrate in its new programme on charitable support to those who need the help, a particular attention being paid to the children. During the journey, the Financial Director of SITA CZ Martin Truchlik handed in CZK 50,000 to support the charitable projects and promised that the cooperation would continue.

This year charitable VIP party and round trip was a success. In terms of funds raised to help those who need it, the party was among the most successful in the history.
