Each day SITA CZ completes 120 waste removal cycles from clients (individuals or legal entities). This is possible thanks to an advanced logistic system and use of best technologies. The fleet comprises the advanced trucks and equipment needed for different areas of the waste management. Detailed information is available about trucks because GPS is installed in each track. This means, dispatchers may optimise truck routes and organise flexibly collection and removal of waste from customer sites. Wastes to be disposed are treated as close as possible to the place of original in order to minimise transport costs.

Different equipment and units are used to handle and store the wastes collected in waste centres or landfills. Special equipment is also used for maintenance of roads and pavements and for vegetation care. A SITA TRANSPORT truck is used to transport hazardous wastes into incinerators and to transport secondary raw materials between the waste centres. Thank to the loading volume of 90 cubic meters, the truck can transport even bulk wastes.

For each truck and equipment, permissible criteria exist and are followed – this ensures protection of environment and health of people in line with the required protection, sustainability and improvement of the environment.
