One of the most important waste management companies in the Czech Republic is a waste management division of SUEZ ENVIRONNEMENT - SITA (Societe Industrielle De Transports Automobiles). SITA was founded in France already in 1919 and in 2000 entered Czech market. After successful process of merging of strategical companies in the lines of ecological/waste management services in the Czech Republic, SITA group entered the year of 2006 jointly as a joint stock company SITA CZ a.s. Today, it is ranked one of the top and most prospective waste management companies.

The main activities of this company are comprehensive waste management services, ecological consultancy, projection/establishing/construction/operating of waste treatment plants, including collection and separation of waste.
