On 30 June 2007 the Split-off agreement between DEKONTA a.s., with the registered office at Ústí nad Labem and SITA CZ a.s. with the registered office at Prague 2 – Vinohrady will be valid.

In connection with the above-mentioned Split-off agreement DEKONTA a.s. is divided into the waste part carrying on its business activities in the field of waste disposal, in particular the operation of landfill and two hazardous waste incinerators and into the remediation part carrying out remediation of old ecological burdens, breakdown services for industrial breakdowns, operation of chemical and microbiological laboratories, ecological audits and other environmental services.

Within the split off agreement the waste part of DEKONTA a.s. will merge with SITA CZ a.s., into the ownership of which in particular the incinerator and landfill in Ústí nad Labem will pass over, including all the assets, liabilities and employees.

SITA CZ a.s., which belongs to the SUEZ group, wants to profile itself and develop in particular as the company engaging in the activities in the field of waste disposal, i.e. operation of modern technologies for waste disposal and complex offer of services in the waste management on the Czech and Slovak market. SITA CZ strengthens by this investment step technological and personnel background of the company, it supports further development of business activities in the North-Bohemian region and thus generally it strengthens significantly the position of SITA in the Czech Republic. The company SITA CZ provides complex offer of services to more then 12000 industrials clients and more then 480 000 citizens. Interest and ambitions of SITA CZ and SUEZ will still concentrated on the pointed investment projects supporting further development of the company on the Czech and Slovak market.

Remaining part of DEKONTA a.s. (remediation part) will go on continuously, after division, carrying on its business activities under its existing legal identity and it will further develop its existing activities in particular in the field of liquidation of old ecological burdens, operation of decontamination areas, biotechnologies and breakdown services. At the same time the company will continue its foreign activities in the field of remediation. DEKONTA a.s. has still its foreign representation in Slovakia, in Poland, Hungary, Serbia, Turkey, Russia and in Vietnam.
